Hi, I'm Michelle

SCROLL DOWN

Hi, I'm Michelle

I’ve been known to convince butterflies to help me with self portraits.

Reading has always been a big part of my life and I’ll forever be a water baby.

I've taken up trampolining, and I simply can’t resist when it comes to capturing a kid floating in mid air with pure joy.

I also LOVE to dance, although “dance” might not be the best word to describe my uncoordinated movements.

(And I’ll eternally adore anyone who is willing to boogie down with me.)

Although,

life isn’t always a dance party,

sometimes it feels messy, unorganised, plain or mundane. I’ve often felt embarrassed about where I’m at in life, but photography has helped me in immeasurable ways to remind me that every stage of life is so important and worth treasuring.

I’m still working on this journey, one step at a time, so I understand how much bravery it takes to invite someone into your home to document your everyday memories and I am utterly honoured when families trust me to show them the extraordinary in their ordinary.

The most extraordinary thing in the world is an ordinary man and an ordinary woman and their ordinary children.
